As Director of Client Technology Services, Blake leads Pohl Consulting’s practice providing a focus on technology services. Ranging from Infrastructure to the overall tech stack encompassing more specific areas such as accounting, portfolio management, trading, performance, regulatory systems, and associated overlay solutions. He brings experience converting in-house to outsourced operations models. He has experience with banks, RIAs, broker dealers, and credit unions.
For over 30 years, Blake has provided solutions in the financial services sector focused on technology such as infrastructure and networking to software for business continuity and Turnkey Software as a Service (SaaS.) His outcomes focus on the balance of best overall cost and efficiency. He is an agent of change for firms looking to assess current gaps and plan for future growth in competitive markets.
Blake has developed thought leadership for groups of various sizes. He brings extensive experience from the vendor space and understands pricing models and creates RFPs to help align business needs with desired outcomes. He has written statements of work, master service agreements and negotiated contracts for projects ranging from due diligence, renewals, consolidations, and department mergers.
Blake earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics with emphasis on accounting and German from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. Through the years he has been certified in various networking and software licensing programs.
In his spare time, Blake is an avid mountain biker, cook, and world traveler.
